Eligibility

  • Open to all students at The Villages Charter High School at Middleton.
  • Entries must be original and created solely by the student.

Theme: 'Middleton Through Our Eyes'

  • Focus on local landscapes and architecture.
  • Community life and spirit.
  • Historical or personal stories tied to Middleton.

Awards & Recognition

  • Live voting during the Middleton Mingle event on November 8th.
  • Cash prizes and exclusive SWAG for top vote-getters.
  • Grand Prize: Artwork potentially displayed on JACOBS trash trucks!

Art Medium Categories

Students may submit one entry in one of the following categories. AI-generated art will be disqualified.

Traditional Art

  • Watercolor & Acrylic Painting: Capture the charm of local landscapes.
  • Charcoal & Pencil Sketches: Highlight architectural details.
  • Note: Avoid lightly shaded or faint pieces.

Photography

  • Scenic Views: Nature, parks, and iconic spots.
  • Community Life: Events, people, and everyday moments.
  • Creative Composition: Unique angles, lighting, or storytelling.

Digital Art

  • Digital Illustration & Painting: Stylized or realistic interpretations.
  • Graphic Design: Posters, layouts, or visual storytelling.
  • Note: All digital art must be original. No AI.

Submission Guidelines

  • Each student may submit one entry.
  • Artwork must be submitted by 10/31/2025.
  • All entries must be appropriate for a school setting.
  • Submissions grant permission for public display.
